WHY ARE YOU HURTING TOO BAD?

It takes people who have been to a place to give a fair description. It also takes people who have gone through some stuff to give others a reason to rejoice. Once we have been set free from our issues of life we are better able to comfort others with the comfort we have received (2 Cor 1:3). I've had my share of ups and downs as you may have, but through it all i have learnt to trust in Jesus. God is a healer!

I believe the key to inner healing is found in Ps. 51:6. God desires truth in the inward parts and in the hidden part He gives us wisdom. When we break the enemy of silence and cry out to the only one that can heal emotional wounds, Jesus, we would truly be healed.

I also believe that the wisdom that we receive in the hidden part is a new way of thinking about our situation. Thus when we see things differently we act differently! One important thing is to know who we are in Christ. Until we know that, we can not even relate to ourselves. That understanding is not only the beginning of wisdom,it is the beginning of healing as well. Only a loving and compassionate God can heal the wounds of the past and He can only do that when we are yielded, submitted and willing to give Him our messed up life.

Tips: 1) Forgive yourself and those that have wounded you and those who you have wounded (Matt. 6:14-15).
2) Feed your spirit with positive affirmations from the word of God.
3) Read self-help books.
4) Get involved in a Bible study, support group or prayer circle.
