YOU SHALL FINISH!

Zech. 4:8-9 "Then another message came to me from the Lord. Zerubbabel is the one who laid the foundation of this temple, AND HE WILL COMPLETE IT. Then you will know that the Lord of Heaven's Armies has sent me." Many people never attempt any project not because they lack ideas or resources, but the fear that they might not complete it. It is one of the devil's deceptions. If the devil was not able to stop God right on the 5th day of His creation but God successfully made man in His own image on the 6th day, then we are unstoppable and can also complete anything we start (once it is a good thing).

PERFECT TIME NEVER COMES!

Eccl. 11:4 "Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they never harvest." This is so true! Most often than not, we want to get everything figured out before we even begin a project. We either want to meet the right person, earn a certain amount of money or reach a certain level in life, before we do what we are supposed to do. But I think that thing mostly happens only in movies. In real life, you must take a risk.

YOU JUST START!

Have you wondered why at times you procrastinate? It is because the enemy deceives you to believe what want to accomplish is impossible. But didn't God also promise that, with Him all things are possible? The devil knows that pretty well. So once he is able to deceive you into believing that you can not do it, then you don't even start anything at all. What he specializes in, is to introduce FEAR! (False Evidence Appearing Real).

ARE YOU A VIRGIN?

Anytime I come across, the story of the ten virgins in the Bible, a lot of questions run through my mind. Does it mean that only those virgins were qualified to meet the bridegroom? It is quite interesting. But I think they were used to empasize the fact that, those who are pure in heart and have set themselves apart can make it. "For without HOLINESS, no man can see God." Are you one of such people?

IT PAINS TO WAIT, BUT IT PAYS TO WAIT.

Isaiah 40:31 "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength..". Waiting may not be pleasurable but when it is on the Lord at the end it is always worth it. Whether it is waiting in a restaurant for your order or in a queue; waiting can be hard. But it is even more difficult when you have waited for so long and don't even know when your request shall be granted.

CAN YOU STILL WAIT?

1 Samuel 13:10-12"And it came to pass, that as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; ...And Samuel said, what hast thou done? And Saul said, Because the people were scattered from me, and that thou camest not within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash; Therefore I said, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the Lord: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering." Waiting is one of the tests of obedience.

GOD MUST BE KIDDING ME!

Genesis 12:2 "I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others." God gave Abraham these words at the age of 75, when he asked him to leave his father's house. And now in Gen. 17:1-14, When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appears to him and re-establishes his covenant with him. That he would be a father of many nations when He couldn't even boast of a single child.

STAY IN GOSHEN, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!

Exodus 9:24-26.(NLT) "Never in the history of Egypt had there been a storm like that, with such devastating hail and continuous lightning. It left all Egypt in ruins...The only place without hail was the region of Goshen, where the people of Israel lived." Looking at the current economic crisis the world over, no one would tell you to seek refuge. The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and they are safe.

IT SHALL TURN AROUND FOR YOU!

Ruth 1:20-21"Don't call me Naomi," she responded. "Instead call me Mara, for the Almighty has made life bitter for me. I went away full, but the Lord has brought me home empty. Why call me Naomi when the Lord has caused me to suffer and the Almighty has sent such tragedy upon me?".In her mind, God was the cause of all her suffering. So she even asked for a change of name from Naomi (pleasant, graceful) to Mara (bitter,sour).

CAN YOU HEAR YOUR DONKEY SPEAK?

Num. 22:26-30 "The angel of the Lord moved farther down the road and stood in a place too narrow for the donkey to get by at all. This time when the donkey saw the angel, it lay down under Balaam. In a fit of rage Balaam beat the animal again with his staff. Then the Lord gave the donkey the ability to speak. "What have I done to you that deserves your beating me three times?" it asked Balaam. "You have made me look like a fool!" Balaam shouted. "If I had a sword with me, I would kill you!"

SPECIAL STRENGTH MODE ACTIVATED!

1 Kings 18:44b,46 "Then Elijah shouted "Hurry to Ahab and tell him, 'Climb into your chariot and go back home. If you don't hurry, the rain will stop you!". Then the Lord gave special strength to Elijah. He tucked his cloak into his belt and ran ahead of Ahab's chariot all the way to the entrance of Jezreel."(NLT). There are somethings that humanly speaking no man could do, unless aided by some supernatural force.

SHE IS A PROSTITUTE, SO?

"Judges 11:1-8 "Now Jephthah of Gilead was a great warrior. He was the son of Gilead, but his mother was a prostitute. Gilead's wife also had several sons, and when these half brothers grew up, they chased Jephthah off the land. "You will not get any of our father's inheritance," they said, "for you are the son of a prostitute." So Jephthah fled from his brothers and lived in the land of Tod.

BEWARE OF DOGS!

Philippians 3:1-2 "Whatever happens my dear brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord. I never get tired of telling you these things, and I do it to safeguard your faith. Watch out for those dogs, those people who do evil...."(NLT). Its interesting how Paul could write this to a church. But sometimes that is the appropriate thing to do. Because if care is not taken, these mischief makers may negatively impact those whose faith are not so strong.

LORD DON'T YOU CARE?

This is a possible question many people could be asking. And it may either be that they have been faced by some storms of life (like the disciples) or think they are not being recognized for all they have been doing for the Lord (like Martha). Let us take a closer look at these two classic scenarios in the Bible. (1) "Jesus was sleeping at the back of the boat with his head on a cushion. The disciples woke him up shouting, "Teacher, don't you care we are going to drown?"(Mark. 4:38). (2) "But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone?"(Luke 10:40).

HOLD ON TO HER GENTLY: SHE IS WISDOM.

Eccl. 10:10 "Using a dull ax requires great strength, so sharpen the blade. That's the value of wisdom; it helps you succeed."(NLT). Sometimes it is not how hard you work that brings success, but the wisdom you apply in what you do, is what makes things happen. If you would succeed in any given area of your life, you don't need just a degree, links or money. You need WISDOM.

"YOU ARE GOD'S PRIORITY."

Psalm 37:23;25 "The Lord directs the steps of the godly, He delights in every detail of their lives. Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread." I have come to understand that, there is nothing about my life that doesn't concern God. He actually knows me by name, so it means He knows me so well.

MANNA WHAT IS IT? ( Part II):

I see many notable miracles happening already. The problem is, many people might miss it because of lack of vision. They might perceive it to be something else other than what they prayed for. This would be because, it would not come the way and MANNER they expected to see it so they would be asking others MANNA? GOD'S WAYS are not man's ways. So we dont have to put Him in a box and expect Him to work in one-way.

MANNA! WHAT IS IT? (Part I)

Exo. 16 V11-12 "Then the Lord said to Moses, I have heard the Israelites' complaints. Now tell them, 'In the evening you will have meat to eat, and in the morning you will have all the bread you want. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God." V15 "The Israelites were puzzled when they saw it. "What is it (MANNA)?" they asked each other. They had no idea what it was." But I thought God clearly told them what was going to happen?

A NEW MINDSET (Part VI)

1 Cor. 2 v11 "No one can know a person's thoughts except that person's own spirit, and no one can know God's thought except God's own Spirit. And we have received God's Spirit (not the world's spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us." So many people have missed their blessings and miracles because of how they saw things. Sometimes you need to see through your spirit and not just your eyes. For we live by faith and not by sight.

A NEW MINDSET (Part I)

Mark 8:22-26. "When they arrived at Bethsaida, some people brought a blind man to Jesus, and they begged him to touch the man and heal him. Jesus took the blind man by the hand and led him OUT of the village. Then, spitting on the man's eyes he laid his hands on him and ask "Can you see anything now? The man looked around "Yes, he said I see people, but I can't see them very clearly. They look like trees walking around. Then Jesus placed his hands on the man's eyes again, and his eyes were opened. His sight was completely restored, and he could see everything clearly. Jesus sent him away saying, Don't go back into the village on your way home."

A NEW MINDSET (Part II)

Jesus held the hand of the blind man and led him OUT of the village. Which means that, He brought him out of the problem area into new place, where there would be no distractions or interruptions. Sometimes all that God would have us do to receive our miracle, is to leave the problem-infested area, so that He can bring us into a worthy place. Where He can be with us alone, and make us like Himself. So we can see, talk and act like Him-Jesus.

A NEW MINDSET (Part III)

Now, after the blind man was completely healed, Jesus told him not to go back to the village (where he used to have that problem) on his way home. How often haven't we gone back to some places we got ourselves infested, after we had been cleansed. Most of us are guilty, and may hide it. Jesus wanted to know the level of this man's sincerity. The prince of this world has blinded the eyes of many, who are now living in illusion deceiving themselves.

A NEW MINDSET (Part IV)

The purpose of our series these few days has been to help us change our outlook. Paul said "and be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind...". Our lives need be transformed, but it all starts in our way of thinking. Until you change your perspective (your world view), you may not experience any meaningful change in your life. It is all a mind issue. "As a man thinks in his heart, so is he...".

A NEW MINDSET (PART V)

BREAK CAMP, MOVE AHEAD!

Deut. 1:6-7 "When we were at Mount Sinai, the Lord our God said to us, 'You have stayed at this mountain long enough. It is time to break camp and move on..."(NLT). Some people become so comfortable in some places that, nothing new happens anymore. They are just fine, as long as they feel accepted, even if its by one person. Today God is telling someone to break camp and move on.

NO SCARCITY IN GOD!

Scripture: "Isaiah 55:1" God doesn't work with your economics. He works in a higher dimension where the economic laws operate differently. In the world's economy, there can be changes in both demand and supply which would consequently determine the price one would have to pay for a good or service. But in the word's economy, the element of scarcity is removed. Here you buy and eat without money. And the grace of God is so sufficient that there is no scarcity of resources.

WHO TOUCHED MY CLOTHES?

 Mark 5:25-30 "And a certain woman, which has an issue of blood twelve years...When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind and touched his garment. For she said, if I may touch his clothes, I shall be whole. And straight away the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body she was healed of that plague. And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that virtue had gone out of Him, turned Him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?"

YOUR MOUTH, YOUR COMPASS

 Joshua 1:8 "Do not let this book of the Law depart from thy mouth..." This was the specific instruction given to a man who was to replace one of the greatest characters in the Bible and who was also known as the meekest man on earth. He is told to keep the word in his mouth. I thought it was just to be read? But I discovered that, there is another dimension of the word, where after you have read and studied it, you begin to talk it, confess it and declare it.
