WHO IS YOUR SHARPENER?

WHO IS YOUR SHARPENER?

"Iron sharpens iron; so a friend sharpens a friend." (Prov. 27:17, NLT)
The people you keep around you will determine how effective you would become in life. You would either move faster or slowly due to their push or pull. You can never be any much different from your friends. You are just like them, in their belief system, the way they think and talk, and what they prioritize. Therefore be mindful who you allow into your life. A Judas may betray you and an Absalom may try to overthrow you. A King Saul may want to take away your life before you get to your throne and a Delilah may want to seduce you, deceive you and take away your strength and render you powerless. For your life to reach where God has destined it to be, you must filter your contacts. Not everyone around you can help you get to your destination. Some may be destroyers and others may be detractors. Beware! Just like iron sharpens irons, move with people who can bring the best out of you. AB@TWD

BEFORE YOU SAY ANOTHER WORD, THINK

BEFORE YOU SAY ANOTHER WORD, THINK!

"Wise people think before they act; fools don't and even brag about their foolishness." (Prov. 13:16,NLT)

One trait of wise people is that, they don't only speak or say what is always right, but they know when to say it. And that is a proof of wisdom. It is not good to always talk without listening. "A truly wise person uses few words...Even fools are thought wise when they keep silent..."(Prov. 17:27-28) Many people have found themselves in some serious mess because of something they said. Even having long life is tied to the words we speak. "Those who control their tongue will have long life, opening your mouth can ruin everything." (Prov. 13:3) "Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut."(Prov. 10:19)

It is unusual for one to be a constant talker without committing sin and defaming the character of someone. The control of the tongue is a show of wisdom. Be wise and know when to speak. AB@TWD

PRAYER: A TWO-WAY STREET!

PRAYER: A TWO-WAY STREET!

"And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit." (James 5:18, KJV)
Anytime prayer is offered according to the word of God, it goes forth like a two-edged sword. And the word of God is ever sharper and more than effective.
"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword..." (Heb. 4:12, KJV)
So no one can have their prayers to be quick and active by forsaking the word.
Whenever you pray and bind, you must also pray and loose. For the Bible says: "And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven." (Matt. 16:19, NLT) Don't fulfill one part and leave the other. Elijah prayed that there should be no rain and it was so. And he prayed again and there came rain. Prayer must be seen as a two-way street. When you bind some things, you must also loose some things to balance the equation. AB@TWD

NO PRAYER IS PRAYER WITHOUT THE WORD!

NO PRAYER IS PRAYER WITHOUT THE WORD!

"Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months." (James 5:17, KJV) The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much. And what makes your prayer effective is not your good command over the English language. Neither is it in your eloquence, but it is ONLY by the word of God. You can pray all your nice prayers, but without THE WORD, your prayers would not carry any weight. For God does nothing outside His word. The mistake most believers make is to spend so many hours praying (which is not a bad thing in itself), but little or no time in the word. So all their prayers are full of mere words and not THE WORD. All God can hear is their plenty talk and less of His (God) word. Pray without ceasing, but also let the word of Christ dwell in you RICHLY to make prayer effective. Elijah was a man like you and I, as he prayed by THE WORD, there was no rain. Pray the word! PROTECT YOUR DREAM:

PROTECT YOUR DREAM:

"But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded." (2 Chro. 15:7, NIV) Many people begin a project and due to rejections, they abandon it to begin things they have not been designed for. This leaves them frustrated and confused in life. God has given you too a gift-it is deep inside your heart. Pursue that dream and never give up. Here is an article I read this week, which is in line with our text:
"WhatsApp's founder Brian Acton was TURNED DOWN for a job at Facebook in August 2009. Like a lot of dejected applicants he took to Twitter to vent his views:@brianacton
"Facebook turned me down. It was a great opportunity to connect with some fantastic people. Looking forward to life's next adventure." And now he is having the last laugh after securing a $19bn (£14bn) deal in stocks and shares with the tech giant. Protect your dream and treasure what you have. For your gift will make room for you one day. Never abandon it. AB@TWD

ENGAGE YOUR PROPHECY (2)

ENGAGE YOUR PROPHECY (2)

"In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem." (Dan. 9:2, KJV) There is something specific God has said concerning your life that is yet to happen. There is a prophecy hanging over your head, which is yet to be fulfilled. We could be stuck, because we don't even know what God has promised us in His word. We go around complaining about how bad things are, without searching to find out God's word concerning our particular situation. It is time to find out what prophecy is yet to be fulfilled in your life according to God's word and engage that prophecy. Daniel found through rigorous search that, it was time for them to come out from slavery. But someone had to stand up and do something about it. "He understood by the books" What books are you reading? For you to engage your prophecy, you must find out what has been written and act on it. AB@TWD

ENGAGE YOUR PROPHECY!

ENGAGE YOUR PROPHECY!

"Then Elijah said to Ahab, Go get something to eat and drink, for I hear a mighty rainstorm coming!..But Elijah climbed to the top of Mount Carmel and bowed low to the ground and prayed with his face between his knees." (1 Kgs. 18:41-42, NLT) It is a natural thing for people to enter into sleep mode once a prophecy has been released. People may conclude that, once the word has been declared, God will watch upon His word to perform. Elijah knew he had to engage the prophecy to see results. "Later on, in the third year of the drought, the Lord said to Elijah, Go and present yourself to King Ahab. Tell him that I WILL SOON send rain!"(V1) Between the time a prophecy is given and the time it is fulfilled, is a period that demands serious intercession. Elijah could have gone home, since God had said he was going to send rain. But instead, he prayed through to break through. Your faith in a prophecy is tested through your prayer. It shows you believe in what God has said. It is time to engage your prophecy! AB@TWD

ARISE ONTO YOUR PROPHECY!

ARISE ONTO YOUR PROPHECY!

"Even in the womb Jacob struggled with his brother; when he became a man, he even fought with God. Yes, he wrestled with the angel and won. He wept and pleaded for a blessing from Him. There at Bethel he met God face to face, and God spoke to him." (Hosea 12:3-4, NLT) Many of us, in fact all of us, have what it takes to be successful in life. But we sit and do not realise it. We go about with sad faces and whinning about what we do not have and what we have lost. Jacob in the text above, never gave up. He knew his God, he knew God's prophecy for His life. As a result, he fought until God had to bless Him. What prophecy have you not had? Why then have you forgotten about it? Arise and begin to speak it into fruition. Arise and begin to walk in it. Arise and begin to run in it. This is your time to hold on to God until he blesses you. "Arise and shine for your light is come" (Isaiah 60:1) I say arise unto your prophecy. EN@TWD

GOD SAYS HE IS WITH YOU!

GOD SAYS HE IS WITH YOU!

"When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you (Isaiah 43:2, NLT) There are many times in our lives when all seems difficult and not working out. You pause and take a careful look into your life and you do not find anything wrong with you. All seems right with your christian walk with God. However, you cannot seem to understand why that breakthrough never seems to come. Not even a sign of it in sight. That job is never coming, the raise in salary isn't either. Your health just keeps deteroriating. Your business won't sustain your family and yourself anymore. Every plan for marriage breaks down. I come to tell you that God says He is with you. "The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. (Psalm 9:9, NLT) "The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes..." (Nahum 1:7,NLT) EN@TWD

LEARN TO SAY IT IS WELL (2)

LEARN TO SAY IT IS WELL (2)

"...And it came to pass, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to Gehazi his servant, Behold, yonder is that Shunammite: Run now, I pray thee, to me her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with THE CHILD? And she answered, IT IS WELL. (2 Kgs. 4:25-26,KJV)This woman in our text received a son by the word of a prophet. And in the process of time, the boy died. She therefore decided to go and meet the man of God and tell him what had happened. When she told her husband about the journey he said, "Why are you going to him today?...And she said IT IS WELL. (V23) But after losing her son, was everything really well? Even in that state she kept saying, it is well. Here is the lesson: We should not say it is well only when things are going well. But we must also learn to say it is well even in bad times. As we do, things will begin to turn around and every dead situation in our life will resurrect. All will go well when we begin to say IT IS WELL. AB@TWD

LEARN TO SAY IT IS WELL!

LEARN TO SAY IT IS WELL!

"Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him..." (Isa. 3:10, KJV) One phrase that should never be missing in your vocabulary is saying "It is well". There are bound to be hard and challenging times, therefore what you say in those times could determine how quick or slow things are going to turn around. In times when there is no food, learn to say it is well. In moments when promotions have delayed, still hold on to your faith and say it is well. When there are insufficient funds, don't lose heart. Keep your confession and declare that it shall be well and it surely shall. God is not expecting you to murmur or complain about whatever situation you find yourself in. He wants to know what your confession would be through all the changing scenes of life. You may not be happy with your present state but here is what God is saying to you today: "Tell the godly that all will be well for them"(NLT) Do you agree? Learn to say IT IS WELL, no matter the situation. AB@TWD

LET YOUR ANGER BE LIKE THE LORD'S. (RELOADED)

LET YOUR ANGER BE LIKE THE LORD'S. (RELOADED)

"For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with great compassion I will take you back. In a burst of anger I turned my face away for a little while. But with EVERLASTING LOVE I will have compassion on you, says the Lord your Redeemer."(Isa. 55:7-8,NLT) Many people have a notion that, once they offend God, then that is the end. They begin to think God is holding something against them, which affects their relationship with Him. The devil has deceived them into accepting that, God will never forget, and neither will He forgive them. But our loving Father is FULL OF COMPASSION. God hates sin; Yes. But He loves the sinner. He doesn't hate the vessel, but rather what has found its way into it. Just as you hate the cancer inside a person, but not the one who has gotten the cancer, so is it with sin. God hates it but loves you the individual. So He has made provision to deal with it. "For His anger lasts a moment, but His favor lasts a lifetime." (Ps. 30:5,NLT) AB@TWD

LET YOUR ANGER BE LIKE THE LORD'S.

LET YOUR ANGER BE LIKE THE LORD'S.

"My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires" (Jas 1:20, NIV) Anger is natural human emotion. It is a normal response to threats, attacks, injustice and dissappointment. The Lord our creator knows our body mechanism very well, that, He advises us to be slow to anger. He did not say we do not get angry. In fact, when sin and injustice occurs, we can become angry because others are being hurt. However, your response is key. Be slow to it, as anger increases your heart rate, blood pressure, blood sugar level and adrenaline. It is a corrosive emotion that can ran off your mental and physical health. "The Lord is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. (Num. 14:18, NIV) As the Lord is filled with love and forgiveness, so also should we be that anger does not overtake us to sin. EN@TWD

VALENTINE'S DAY EDITION: LOVE; NOT JUST FEELINGS!

VALENTINE'S DAY EDITION: LOVE; NOT JUST FEELINGS!

"Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love? Does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?...And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love..."(Rom. 8:35;38,NLT)
Many of us see love as some feeling we have towards something or someone that feels good. But the kind of love that we Christians ought to have actually goes beyond mere feelings. It is a decision! If we only limit our love to feelings, then what would become of us when that feeling is no more there? It is about time we woke up to the realization that love is a decision. Not just a feeling that we have, which could fade away. We make a resolution to love, so that in times of challenges we may hold on to that decision in hope. Paul was fully persuaded that NOTHING could separate him from the love of Christ. What do you also say? AB@TWD

WE ARE LOVE BY DEFAULT

WE ARE LOVE BY DEFAULT

"Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love" (1 John 4:7-8, NLT) Sometimes you read such scriptures and they seem so clear and simple, however, acting on them is even the most difficult. God is love and so are we. "So God createdhuman beings, making them to be like himself...(Gen. 1:27, GNT) Real love is like God who is selfless and holy. People feel good and think that is love. But how can we do the morally wrong (fornicate, adultery etc.) and think we are loved? No, that is of the world. If we are created like God, then we need to go back to the basics; where we do not love because someone loves us. Rather love others so that they can also know how to love. This is not to say dying physically for someone, but rather let your love be sacrificial. Listen, help, encourage and give in a morally right way. EN@TWD

WHO SAID LOVE IS IN THE AIR?

WHO SAID LOVE IS IN THE AIR?

By what standards do we value or measure love? Why do we even bother measuring the amount of love by the physical expressions we see? By God's standards, you will be surprised that 8 out of 10 people who you thought showed you love did not. It takes only the "LOVING" to see love. Who then is the loving? "Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn't want what it doesn't have. Love doesn't strut, doesn't have a swelled head. Doesn't force itself on others, isn't always me first, doesn't fly off the handle, doesn't keep score of the sins of others. (1 Cor. 13:4-5, The Message) So you see, I can now say 10 out of 10 people may not have shown you love yesterday. Love is not a choice to us Christians, it is a command. We are beseeched to ensure that we live by this standard - exhibit a love that is unconditional. Is love still in the air? Yes it is, because you gave it unconditionally. EN@TWD

CALLED OR CHOSEN?

CALLED OR CHOSEN?

This topic is to help answer a question asked by a reader two days ago. Question - who are the CALLED and who are the CHOSEN? Matthew 22:14 (NLT) states "For many are called, few are chosen". This is a conclusion on the parable of the wedding dinner that Jesus shared. Heaven was likened to a king who had sent out his servants to notify his invited guests that the wedding dinner was ready. But they refused. As a result, others were invited and they came. But at the feast, a man wearing improper clothes was ordered by the king to be thrown in outer darkness. Everyone one of us who has heard of or read the salvation story of Jesus Christ has been CALLED. God has given you an invitation to come to the banquet in heaven. At that eternal banquet there are specific clothes to wear. These are clothes of righteousness and only those well dressed can enter the banquet (heaven). These are the CHOSEN. What are your credentials? Heaven is near. Are you CALLED and CHOSEN? EN@TWD

NOURISHMENT FROM WORK

NOURISHMENT FROM WORK

"Then Jesus explained: My nourishment comes from doing the will of God, who sent me, and from finishing His work" (John 4:34, NIV) How many of us work for nothing? If for nothing we would still expect some form of refreshment at the end. Even beyond this was Jesus Christ who had had no food, yet was making such a profound statement. That His nourishment came from doing the will of God. How are we nourished by using up our energies? This special experience only comes by finding the will of God. It therefore behoves us to find the will of God concerning our work on earth. And this comes from God's spirit in us. "Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take." (Prov. 3:6, NLT) That said, finishing His work also brings nourishment. How many projects have you started for God and left behind? Is there not any nourishment to be derived in completing it? Check if its the will of God. EN@TWD

SLAVE OF CHRIST?

SLAVE OF CHRIST?

(Rom. 1:1, NLT) "This letter is from Paul, a SLAVE of Jesus Christ, CHOSEN by God to be an apostle and SENT OUT to preach His Good News." As Paul's first letter to Rome, he had to describe himself to the understanding of the Romans. What did he mean when he called himself a SLAVE of Jesus Christ? Slavery in ancient Rome played an important role in society. Aside manual labour, slaves were employed in skilled jobs such as teachers, accountants and physicians. Slaves were considered property under Roman law and had no legal personhood. Paul was not wrong when he saw himself as a SLAVE of Christ. "For we don't live for ourselves or die for ourselves. If we live, it's to honor the Lord. And if we die, it's to honor the Lord. (Rom. 14:7-8, NLT) "For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. If i am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labour for me... (Phil. 1:21-22, NIV) What are your credentials? Are you qualified to be called a SLAVE of Jesus Christ? EN@TWD

WHAT ARE YOUR CREDENTIALS?

WHAT ARE YOUR CREDENTIALS?

"Paul, a SERVANT of Christ Jesus, CALLED to be an apostle and SET APART for the gospel of God." (Romans 1:1,NIV) It is only recently that God gave me the opportunity to see this scripture in a different light. And it struck me to take a second look at my life in the Lord. Consider the New Living Translation of this text: "This letter is from Paul, a SLAVE of Jesus Christ, CHOSEN by God to be an apostle and SENT OUT to preach His Good News." This was the first time Paul was writing to the Romans and it was prudent that he introduced himself. Paul's credentials showed he was completely committed to Jesus Christ. What do you stand for that serve as your credentials? Are you a SLAVE or SERVANT of Jesus Christ? Have you been CHOSEN or CALLED to be an apostle? Have been SET APART or SENT OUT to preach the gospel? "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth" (2 Tim. 2:15, NIV) EN@TWD

WORSHIP IN VIEW OF GOD'S MERCY (RELOADED)

WORSHIP IN VIEW OF GOD'S MERCY (RELOADED)

Rom. 9:14-16, 30-31 NLT."Are we saying, then, that God was unfair? Of course not! For God said to Moses, "I will show mercy to anyone i choose, ... so it is God who decides to show mercy. We can neither choose it nor work for it." As Christians, we are easily swayed into thinking that our acts of righteousness is what will bring us salvation and eternal life. As a result, we end up missing the truth that God has already reached down to us. If our lives will be worship to God, then we need understand that playing by rules - being nice, doing church work, keeping all His laws is an approach that does not succeed. V 30. "What does all this mean? Even though the Gentiles were not trying to follow God's standards, they were made right with God. And it was by faith that this took place." V 31. "But the people of Israel, who tried hard to get right with God by keeping the law, never succeeded." Your faith then must rest on the rock that is Jesus. EN@TWD

WORSHIP IN VIEW OF GOD'S MERCY!

WORSHIP IN VIEW OF GOD'S MERCY!

"Therefore, I urge you, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices,... this is your spiritual act of worship" (Rom. 12:1, NIV) Why does Paul urge us, Christians, in view of God's mercy? Paul knew where we were rescued from and the fact that neither our works nor our good deeds bought us the salvation we have. In this same vein, God showed mercy to Moses. "And the Lord said, I will cause all MY goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim MY name, the Lord, in your presence, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy..." (Exodus 33:19, NIV) The most important lesson for living a life of worship is to understand this - that God is sovereign. Elijah thought he knew better and began to show God how zealous he was. That in all Israel he was the only one who had kept God's convenant. "And what was God's answer to him? "I have reserved for MYSELF seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal" (Rom. 11:4, NIV) Are you one of such people? EN@TWD

WORSHIP UNENDING!

WORSHIP UNENDING!

"Each of these living beings had six wings, and their wings were covered all over with eyes, inside and out. Day after day and night after night they keep saying..." (Rev. 4:8, NLT) It is very sad that many of us say we went to church to worship. Our text gives us a fore taste of the worship that awaits us in heaven. One that is never ending - all day all night. If truly we always say that "Thy kingdom come as it is heaven" then it begins with a heaven-like worship. Our heart, mind and soul must be devoted to our Lord. "... These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship is a farce... (Mark 7:6, NLT) Don't get me wrong, am not calling for church all day. Rather a life that gives praise and honor to God. One that serves our maker. Worship causes us to consider and appreciate God's character. Worship takes our minds off our problems and focuses them on God. Your worship just began and you've got to keep it as a way of life. EN@TWD.

HAVE YOU TRIED WORSHIP?

HAVE YOU TRIED WORSHIP?

"The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him....Then the lord of the servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt."(Matt. 18:26-27NLT). This servant owed his master so much that, to pay the debt, he had to be sold, along with his wife and children. But as he fell down and worshipped his lord, he was moved with compassion and forgave him all that he ever owed. How does this apply to us? We also like this servant, may have some debt to pay. But when we fall on our knees and touch our Lord's heart with our worship, He being full of compassion will pardon. In Luke 7:36-48, we are told of a woman who came with an alabaster box to anoint Jesus. She knew she owed so much, so she offered something that was so dear to her. Her heart of worship was portrayed in her act of service to Jesus. She worshipped irrespective of what the people said or thought of her. Her focus was ministering to Jesus. What about you? Have you tried worship yet? AB@TWDevotional.

WHERE YOU FIND COMFORT!

WHERE YOU FIND COMFORT!

"I will comfort you there in Jerusalem as a mother comforts her child." Isaiah 66:13. The comfort we are talking about here does not mean the absence of trouble. But it is in the midst thereof, that we understand what it means to be comforted. Comfort therefore does not mean you would have no problems or difficulties. But "even though you may walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you shall fear no evil. For God will be with you. His rod and His staff shall COMFORT you..." Comfort seeks to give strength and hope when you are weak and in despair. To ease the grief or pain when in challenges. It is a feeling of relief/encouragement and a satisfying/enjoyable experience. You might have prayed all your nice prayers and yet the problems are around you. Like Daniel in the lion's den. And like the three Hebrew friends in the furnace, you shall be comforted. Jesus never left you comfortless. Cheer up, the Holy Spirit is with you. AB@TWD.

YOU ARE THE BEST PERSON FOR THAT TASK(3)

YOU ARE THE BEST PERSON FOR THAT TASK(3)

"Now Jephthah of Gilead was a great warrior. He was the son of Gilead, but his mother was a prostitute. Gilead's wife also had several sons, and when these half brothers grew up, they chased Jephthah off the land. You will not get any of our father's inheritance they said, for you are the son of a prostitute. So Jephthah fled from his brothers and lived in the land of Tob...At about this time, the Ammonites began their war against Israel. When the Ammonites attacked, the elders of Gilead sent for Jephthah in the land of Tob. The elders said: Come and be our commander! Help us fight the Ammonites. But Jephthah said to them, Aren't you the ones who hated me and drove me from my father's house? Why do you come to me now when you are in trouble? Because we need you, the elder's replied. If you lead us in battle against the Ammonites, we shall make you ruler over all the people of Gilead."(Judges 11:1-8,NLT) Bear in mind, you are still the best person for that task. AB@TWD

"The angel of the Lord appeared to him and said, Mighty hero, the Lord is with you! Sir, Gideon replied, if the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? And where are all the miracles our ancestors told us about?..Then the Lord turned to him and said, GO WITH THE STRENGTH YOU HAVE, and rescue Israel from the Midianites. I am sending you! But Lord, Gideon replied, how can I rescue Israel? My clan is the weakest in the whole tribe of Manasseh, and I am the least in my entire family! The Lord said to him, I will be with you. And you will destroy the Midianites as if you were fighting against one man." (Judg. 6:12-16,NLT) I believe this text brings to mind some experiences you may have had at some point in your life, when you were called to undertake a project. Just like Gideon, you may do everything you can to have God change His mind. But He doesn't see your inability but rather His power at work in you. You are the best person, and I AM is with you! God didn't just decide how His temple should be built. He also equipped some selected people with the skill to carry out His will. But there may come a time that it may seem as if God were telling you to do things you can barely imagine. You may be unskilled in a certain area God wants you to venture. Never get worried, for once He gives you the vision, He would surely provide and equip you to get it done. The next time God gives you a task you have no clue about, don't be dismayed. Just know that He'll equip you to execute it. God may choose not to call the qualified but instead qualify the called. He has chosen you for a specific assignment. You are the best person for that task and you have all it takes. I believe in you! AB@TWD

JESUS IS ALWAYS ON POINT!

JESUS IS ALWAYS ON POINT!

"He told them, Go into the next village. As soon as you enter it, you will find a young donkey that has never been ridden. Untie the donkey and bring it here."(Mark 11:2;MSG) Do you realize how precise Jesus could be? He has always been on point and could even tell what people were thinking and plotting in their heart before they spoke. I can perceive that Jesus knew He would dine in the house of Zacchaues before He saw Him on the tree. He is God and knows exactly where you are in life's journey. He can predict exactly how far you have come and what is needed to take you to the next level. In our text, we see Jesus instructing His disciples to where the ass had been tied. And the interesting thing is that, He also knew no one had sat on it before. He knew all about the ass, and same way He knows all about you. SEIZE THE OPPORTUNITY!

"The fastest runner doesn't always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn't always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don't always lead successful lives. It is decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time." (Eccl. 9:11,NLT) Even though God has favored you, you need to seize every opportunity that comes your way in order to step fully into what He has planned for you. His desire is that you may prosper, and He will also create avenues to take you there. The challenge is how to recognize these opportunities and maximize them to your full advantage. You may sit down complaining in the midst of opportunities. Just a single move could just be it. The man who had been lying by the pool of Bethesda had an equal opportunity with the others to get healed, but he waited for someone to put him into the water. You need to know when to seize certain opportunities. You are well able. AB@TWD

YOU HAVE NO IDEA!

YOU HAVE NO IDEA!

Kindly read and meditate on the scripture below: Isaiah 14:24,27 "The God-of-Angel-Armies speak: Exactly as I planned, it will happen. Following my blueprints, it will take shape. God-of-the Angel-Armies has planned it. Who could ever cancel such plans? His is the hand that's reached out. Who could brush it aside? (MSG) "The Lord of Heaven's Armies has sworn this oath: It will all happen as I have planned. It will be all as I have decided. The Lord of Heaven's Armies has spoken-who can change His plans? When His hand is raised, who can stop Him?(NLT) Can you feel the power behind this prophecy? "Indeed, the Sovereign Lord never does anything until He reveals His plans to His servants the prophets."(Amos 3:7) And the plan of God for you this season is to prosper you. His plans for you cannot be anulled by any man because He has the final say. "Who can command things to happen without the Lord's permission?"(Lam. 3:37). What God is about to do shall surprise you. You have no idea! AB@TWD
