WAITING WHILE WORSHIPPING (W.W.W)

Waiting is a very difficult task and it takes great perseverance and patience to wait on God even while we worship. Our world is caught up with the disease of 'fast track' so much that it seems we cant patiently wait any longer for anything. It has become so prevalent that we easily grow impatient in all our dealings. We cant wait for our turns in long queues, always going in for fast food, fast connections, fast track courts, fast jet planes, even the commonest is what we all are aware of now-FASTEST INTERNET ACCESS. Everything around us now is gradually moving in this fashion.
Does that mean that our worship should also be fast tracked? God dropped a word in my spirit this morning, and it said 'the word is ever-changing but He is still the same'. This means that no matter what goes on in this world the word of God never changes. In our worship, whether corporate or individual we should make time and wait on Him in his presence. We shouldnt rush Him out or be in a hurry to leave. If we do that we tend to miss out on the true worship experience. We are to cönstantly make time for fellowship with our father in worship, waiting to hear what He has for us at every point in time in our lives. Worship should be enjoyed.

Notwithstanding the fact that waiting in itself is not easy, I personally believe that if it is in the presence of God it is worth the pain in waiting. A song writer said 'better is öne day in your court than a thousand elsewhere'. David desired to be in God's presence all the days of his life. We should cultivate this habit and wait in God's presence and worship Him wholeheartedly. The world may be ever changing but we shouldnt change the way we worship God and follow the patterns of this world. Rom 12:2 'do not conform to this world...'. The bible also says that, we are not of this world, so we should not go with them. If they are speeding up everything we are not to speed up our time with the father. Lets make time for him everyday . It pays to wait-especially in His presence. Worship patiently!
