NO GOD, NO SUCCESS! (2)



"The Lord your God will then make you successful in everything you do. He will give you many children and numerous livestock, and he will cause your fields to produce abundant harvests, for the Lord will again delight in being good to you as he was to your ancestors." (Deut. 30:9,NLT) One thing you should know is that, God is happy whenever His children make progress in life. He never wants to see you a pauper and living in constant lack. The Bible records: I wish above ALL THINGS, that you may prosper (financial prosperity) and be in good health (physical prosperity), even as your soul prospers (spiritual prosperity). God wants you to prosper everywhere. So that you don't only have in one area and lack in another. He is interested in your complete well being and He takes pleasure in seeing you succeed. "...Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant." (Ps. 35:27) If you see God as the source of your success, He will make all resources available to help you succeed. AB@TWD

NO GOD, NO SUCCESS!


"Uzziah was sixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem for fifty-two years...Uzziah sought God during the days of Zechariah, who taught him to fear God. And as long as the king sought guidance from the Lord God gave him success." (2 Chro.26:3;5,NLT) Note this: GOD GIVES SUCCESS! Success in life is not in the amount of wealth you may have. For a man's life doesn't consist of the abundance of things he possesses. True success is from God. It is God who gives men the power to get wealth. Also every good and perfect gift comes from Him, but all He needs from you is to recognize Him as your source. When you delight yourself in the Lord, He not only hears your prayers but He also gives you the desires of your heart. Stop pursuing all the things that really don't satisfy and seek God-the true source of success. In our text; Uzziah was young in age but was able to rule over a whole nation Israel, all because God was with him. Make sure you seek God and true success is assured! AB@TWD

DREAM-PROTECTED!

DREAM-PROTECTED! 

The ff. points are to help us protect our dreams and I call them: The No H.A.R.M approach. (1) Guard your HEART-"Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it flows the issues of life." Everything you have and will ever be is hidden inside your heart. When your heart is safe your dreams are protected.
(2) Guard your ASPIRATION: This is the hope of achieving something. So to achieve your dreams, your aspirations must be in sync with God's word. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart...In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path." (3) Guard your RELATIONSHIPS-"Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly...". Wrong company means your dreams are not safe. Cut all bad associations if you want to make your way prosperous.
(4) Guard your MOUTH-"Death and life are in the power of the tongue...Watch your words, for they are powerful. Plenty talk means plenty mistakes. And the possibility of sharing your secrets with wrong people. Be wise! AB@TWD

"And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it to his brethren: and they hated him yet the more...And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words." (Gen. 37:5-8, KJV) You must be careful who you share your dream with. There are dream killers, dream fightersand dream stealers. DREAM-KILLERS would want to get rid of you, so that your dream never come to pass. Just like Herod wanted to kill Jesus. DREAM-FIGHTERS are those who would not necessarily want to kill you, but they would frustrate you and fight against your dream, so that you would give up. Just like the brothers of Joseph fought him. DREAM-STEALERS may neither kill your dream nor fight against it, but they want to steal it and fulfill it without you. Just like Paul was kept in different prisons. Guard your dream! AB@TWD

DO YOU HAVE A VISION?

"And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time...(Hab. 2:2-3,KJV)
Every vision God gives has an appointed time. You must identify the ff. people:
(1) Vision bearers: They make sure you don't get off track. They make the vision their own and do everything they can to see it happen. They literally bear any consequences the vision has.
(2) Vision carriers: They run with the vision to where you never even thought possible. They make sure plans to fulfill the vision are implemented. They carry the vision on their shoulders.
(3) Vision detractors: They make sure you don't see your way forward. They will cause so many distractions to discourage you.
(4) Vision destroyers: They may not want to live to see the vision fulfilled. Not only do they fight it but they do all they can to kill the vision. Be careful who you share your vision with. AB@TWD
