WHAT IS GOOD TO YOU?

Title: What is good to you?

Scripture: Psalm 84:11, KJV

"For the Lord God is a sun and a shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no GOOD thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly."

You may be asking why you've been believing God for good things, but haven't seen any yet?" Sometimes what is good in your eyes may not be what God has intended for you. And you don't even see it when He releases any good thing because you may still be expecting something else. It is not everything that appeals to your physical eyes that may be good for you. 

When Eve in the garden, saw that the tree was good for food and took of its fruit to eat, she lost everything else as a result. What you may be seeing now, that whets your appetite, could lead to your fall. Watch it! It could be money, fame, a man or a woman. 

But every good and perfect gift comes from God. He knows exactly what you need to enjoy a good life. All He needs is that you trust Him. "...but they that seek the Lord shall not want ANY GOOD THING."(Ps. 34:10). AB@TWDevotional
