DID PAUL LIE?

Title: Did Paul lie?
Scripture:  2 Corinthians 7:1-2, NLT

"Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God. Please open your hearts to us. We have not done wrong to anyone...".

As I read this scripture and got to the verse 2, something caught my attention. Did Paul really say "He had not wronged anyone? But we all know from the book of Acts that Paul, when he was known as Saul of Tarsus, had been personally involved in the persecution, imprisonment and even execution of Christians. So how then, could he claim he had wronged no one?

Just two chapters prior to this, Paul wrote: "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new". So what he was saying was that, "The man that did those things died on the road to Damascus." If Paul could say he had wrong no one and it wasn't a lie, you too have been made new in Christ.
