ARE YOU SEEKING GOD?

Title: Are you seeking God?

Scritpure: 2 Chronicles 26:3,5 & 15-16

"Uzziah was sixteen years old when he reigned in Jerusalem fifty-two years. Uzziah sought God during the days of Zechariah, who taught him to fear God. And as long as the king sought guidance from the Lord, God gave him success."  

This is a very important point. Success that doesn't come from God, is not good success and will certainly not last. God showed Joshua(1:8) the secret to good success: That is, by not letting the word of God depart from his mouth. But meditating on it consistently. By that, his way would be prosperous and he would have good success. Therefore your success in life is dependant on you seeking after God. 

Our text: 15-16 "...His fame spread far and wide, for the Lord gave him marvelous help, and he became very powerful. But when he had become powerful, he also became proud, which led to his downfall. He sinned against the Lord his God..." 

After you have sought for the Lord and become successful, don't let the praise of men poisen you. AB@TWDevotional
