HAVE YOU MADE ALLOWANCE?

Title: Have you made allowance?

Scripture: Colossians 3:13, NLT

"Make allowance for each other's fault, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others."

Some people think that, whenever they forgive others, they're doing them a favor. They don't know they're rather helping themselves. It is pathetic how many great relationships have been ruined due to unforgiveness. Whenever one carries unforgiveness in their heart, it is like poison. Sometimes the best thing to do for yourself and not necessarily for the other person is to release them from your heart. One thing about forgiveness is that, it is MANDATORY. 

The fact that you have been forgiven by God, demands that you do same for others. No matter how someone may have hurt you, God's word says "Just as you have been forgiven, you too forgive!" You must make room to accommodate other's faults. "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. The more you forgive, the more you are forgiven. Have you made allowance? AB@TWDevotional
