A BETTER WAY OF SEEING THINGS!

Title: A better way of seeing things!
Scripture: Job 23:10

"But he knows where I am going. And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold."

God uses many things to test us and one is PAIN. When we go through any form of pain, we may think that, "God is punishing us for some sin or doesn't like us." But God allows them to happen to purify us and strengthen us. In the heat of pain and afflictions we are refined. Another thing that God can use to test us is PRAISE.

"As the fining pot for silver, and the furnace for gold; so is a man to his praise."(Prov. 27:21). "The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but the Lord trieth the hearts."(Prov. 17:3).

God is taking you to a whole new dimension, but it requires that you get tested. The praises you receive and the pains you endure will tell. It is in the heat of  afflictions, that you can become as pure as gold. The more the heat intensifies the purer you become. So whether it be praise or pain it is meant for your good. See it that way!

Whenever you complain in a time of pain or affliction (heat/pressure), then you are behaving like burning WOOD or GRASS! The point is that, whenever fire is set into a forest full of wood and dry grass, you may hear the noise even at a distance. The more the intensity of the heat, the higher the noise you may hear. And at the end, all you'll see would be ashes.
But unlike these two, for you to get the best and pure gold, it must go under intense heat and there may be little or no noise. As if to say, gold doesn't feel the heat. It appears calm even in the middle of so much heat. Are you like wood or grass? Or you're like gold? If you see yourself as gold, you wouldn't complain even though you may be under pressure. Because you see yourself becoming better. But if you see yourself as an "ashes-producing" material, then you may cry out loud. What you're made of would show in the face adversity. Be bold as gold!
