WHAT DO YOU SUFFER FOR?

Title: What do you suffer for

Scripture: 1Peter 3:13,17 NLT

 "Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good? But if even you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don't worry or be afraid of their threats. Remember, it is better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than to suffer for doing wrong!"

Many people complain bitterly about suffering in life. But it is interesting when you hear some of the reasons why they suffer. Suffering could be painful so you must make sure that it is for something good. Many people get into bad companies and suffer; some too enter into wrong businesses and suffer same. Others also find themselves in unholy alliances and suffer various consequences. 

So if you are suffering in any area of your life, find out; if the reason behind it is a good one; then you would be assured of God's reward. But if not, then you must make some serious adjustments. Always make sure you don't suffer for wrong reasons. It may cost you a lot.  AB@TWDevotional
