"David was now afraid of God, and he asked, How can I ever bring the Ark of God back into my care? So David did not move the Ark into the City of David. Instead, he took it to the house of Obed-edom of Gath. The Ark of God remained there in Obed-edom's house for THREE MONTHS, and the Lord blessed the household of Obed-edom and everything he owned."(1 Chro. 13:12-14) This is an interesting account of a man who became so blessed within a space of 91-Days. We have been told that, this man willingly accepted to host the Ark of God, which even David was afraid to send to his city. Within a short time, everything this man owned was blessed. There is something supernatural about the presence of God that no human effort can compare. It releases favor, gives strength and grants wisdom for greater works. It may have appeared to be a lot of work for Obed-edom, at the thought of hosting the Ark of God. But at the end, it paid off. Let the presence of God be with you and enjoy blessings! AB@TWDevotional
