DO YOU HAVE A SONG?

"By the rivers of Babylon we sat and wept when we remembered Zion. There on the poplars we hung our harps, for there our captors asked us for songs, our tormentors demanded songs of joy; they said, 'Sing us one of the songs of Zion!' How can we sing the songs of the Lord while in a foreign land?"(Ps. 137:1-4).

Sometimes singing the Lord's songs may not make sense. Especially when you look at your current state or situation and all you see is pain. It becomes hard to respond "Halleluyah" even when you hear a "Praise the Lord." The enemy's ambition is to cut the flow of the songs of your God, so that others may not hear your testimony of how great and good He is. Your praise renders the enemy powerless because God steps in when you praise. And every chain is broken to deliver you from any bondage. But what do you do when you have been hit so hard by a storm? What do you say when you find yourself in an unfamiliar zone? Do you still testify of your God? Do you have a song? AB@TWDevotional
