"Master, Simon replied, we worked hard all last night and didn't catch a thing. But if you say so, I'll let the nets down AGAIN."(Luke 5:5,NLT) What have you been doing for years that doesn't seem to be working? What have you been trying to change that seems unchangeable? Could it be a business, a relationship, a career or a ministry? Allow the Lord to step in, and He will show you the way out. You can pretend before others to be strong, but hide in your closet and cry. You can make others believe you have it all, but secretly chase after favors. Note this: Your strength can only take you as far as it is humanly possible. So what happens when faced with the humanly impossible? It is time to let your hand off the wheel; you are not the good driver you thought you were. Let Jesus take over. You have failed at all your attempts to make things work but to no avail.
