Eccl. 12:1 "Don't let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your Creator. Honor him in your youth before you grow old and say, "Life is not pleasant anymore." In a fast growing and technological age, it is likely if not impossible to be carried away by stuff and activities that, we may have little or no time for God. But no matter the world's trend and its advancement, God is even far more ahead.
Now many people do things simply because others are doing it, and see it as what is popular. If even it means disobeying God. Peer pressure did not end when we left our high schools but they are still with us even now. Our text tells us not to allow the excitement that comes with being a youth, cause us to forget about God. Don't follow the masses, they are not always right. Love God, serve Him and honor Him. This may not be popular but that is what is proper.
