What do you do when you go through difficult times and it looks like all odds are against you? When it almost feels like the devil Himself is standing right on your shoulders, and saying things just to frustrate you? There is one sure way to get out of such a situation and that's the same method Jesus applied when He was also tempted of the devil. To tell the devil what has been written in the word of God.
The devil who tempted Eve to eat the fruit, was the same devil who asked Jesus to turn stones into bread and eat. Jesus would naturally be hungry after 40 days of fasting, but He knew who He was dealing with. The Psalmist said "...thou prepares a table before me, in the presence of my enemies." And there is no problem at all if God is the one preparing that table. But for the devil himself to set the table, then you dare not eat, because you would pay later.
