Scripture: Phil. 2:3-6, NLT
"Don't be selfish; don't try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don't look out for your own interests, but take an interest in others too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to."
Some people think they are so smart to always take you for granted. Don't allow them to destroy your personality, change your mood or distract your vision. Never try to please or impress anyone. I have realised that, it is even a bit more eazier to please God than it is to please men. "And it is impossible to please God without faith"(Heb. 11:6). Therefore you can please God once you have faith. But what about men? Just look out for their best interest and let them call you a fool if they want to. They would later realise how wise you were.
