Scripture: Psalm 78:70,72
"He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds:
So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands." Many people want to get into big positions before they show their true potential. But I see that such people never get to those places. How would you be given much if you are even not faithful with the little you have now? The Bible records that "David guarded the sheep with his very life" and was willing to sacrifice everything to make sure they were safe. Were they human beings? No. So that showed the kind of heart he had. If he could do such a thing for mere animals, then he could even do more for his fellow human being.
