THE BEST GIFT @ CHRISTMAS:
"...Behold there came WISE MEN from the east to Jerusalem...V11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary, his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh."(Matt. 2:1,11) The best gift you can give to Jesus at Christmas is your heart of worship. A gift pure as gold, with a sweet aroma of myrrh and frankincense. Have you realized that apart from the gold, all the two other gifts presented were sweet scented perfumes? It should tell us that our offering of worship also carries a smell; and it would be accepted or rejected depending on how good or bad it is. A typical example is when Cain and Abel came to offer their sacrifice to God. "And the Lord had respect unto Abel and his offering: But unto Cain and his offering he had not respect."(Gen. 4:4-5) May your worship be a sweet smelling savor to Jesus this Christmas.
