John 15:5b "For without me ye can do nothing." No one on earth can make such a serious statement, knowing very well that man's strength is limited. Jesus is not one of the people you need to make it in life, but the one person you cannot do without. You may 'know book', have a high IQ, have the best links, come from an affluent background and so on. But none of these can substitute the role Jesus plays in your life.
The arm of flesh will fail you and you undoubtedly would need Jesus to excel. Paul wrote "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me...". Things may not have worked for you as you may have planned this year. And Jesus says "For if you by-pass me, there is nothing you can achieve, and you can never be successful if you ignore me." (paraphrasing). You can't update Him like a software. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. His word has not changed. Call on Him now to come and fix things and mend the broken pieces in 2012; so you can have a new beginning! @ABTruworshipa
