Matthew 20:26b-27 "...but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant." If there is one thing I have learnt and desire to work on more in the coming years, it is the ability to serve others with my gift in humility. It may look like one difficult thing to do, but it is stated clearly that, "the only way to be great, comes through servitude/servanthood.
Sometimes we make others think we are rather doing them a favor as we minister to them, which is wrong. Once we have been gifted, it is for the sake of the people in our churches, homes, work places and communities. These people have to be blessed by our various ministries. Ministry is also known as "helps".(1 Cor. 12:28). "Freely you have received, freely you must give" is the principle. But one challenge also is that, some people once they see others willing to serve would want to take undue advantage of them, which is also wrong. Be careful how you treat others! @ABTruworshipa
