Genesis 12:14-16 "And sure enough, when Abram arrived in Egypt, everyone noticed Sarai's beauty. When the palace officials saw her, they sang her praises to Pharaoh, their king, and Sarai was taken into the palace. Then Pharaoh gave Abram many gifts because of her..." There are 3 Key things I want us to consider in today's text.
Firstly, when you are favored something unique about you is noticed. It could be a gift, a talent or something you may not even value. In Sarai's case it was her beauty. Thus her gift made room for her. Secondly, others will recommend you to great and influential men. The praises of Sarai was sang to Pharoah and she was invited to the palace. Thirdly, anyone connected to you would also enjoy some level of favor. It is contagious. There are some people in life once you hook up with them, favor locates you automatically. Just like in our text for today, Abram got gifts from Pharoah because of Sarai. Your beauty (God's glory) shall make you stand out! Amen. @ABTruworshipa
