Now, after the blind man was completely healed, Jesus told him not to go back to the village (where he used to have that problem) on his way home. How often haven't we gone back to some places we got ourselves infested, after we had been cleansed. Most of us are guilty, and may hide it. Jesus wanted to know the level of this man's sincerity. The prince of this world has blinded the eyes of many, who are now living in illusion deceiving themselves.
The man's vision was blur and needed another touch to see things better. So why should he pretend he was ok when he actually wasn't? So many people are in similar situations, but when Jesus asks them how far they could see, it is as if their responds is; 'Lord it is not so clear, but don't worry I would manage'. But Jesus already knows what is in the heart of every person. Whatever he asks you about, he has a solution for it. Don't settle for less, go for more.
