ARE YOU AT BETHEL?
"Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, Surely the Lord is in this place, and I wasn't even aware of it!"(Gen. 28:16,NLT) Jacob never thought God would be IN the place he found himself. But to his utter dismay, where he was sleeping was actually an entrance to heaven. "But he was also afraid and said, What an awesome place this is! It is none other than the house of God, the very gateway to heaven"(v17) The very place you may despise could be the same place God may decide to have an encounter with you. That place is your BETHEL (which means House of God). God is everywhere (omnipresent), but He can choose to manifest Himself in diverse ways to those who reverance and worship Him. This makes worship more than a place! "Jesus replied, Believe me, dear woman, the time is coming when it will no longer matter whether you worship the Father on this mountain or in Jerusalem."(Jn. 4:21,NLT) Where you are today can be the place God would meet you!
