ARE YOU BEING LED?
"Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted there by the devil."(Mt.4:1,NLT) Why would God permit His Son to be tempted? Its just like the same way God asked the devil, "Have you considered my servant Job?" There is always a greater glory after the temptation. In God's divine agenda, Jesus had to go through this to show His readiness to begin His earthly ministry. It was not a pleasant experience, but for the will of God to be fulfilled , Jesus availed Himself. He knew that, the sufferings of that present time were not worthy to be compared to the glory that would be revealed in him. The devil couldn't have called Jesus to the wilderness. It was the Spirit that led Him there, and it was for a purpose. The devil may think he has you locked down. It could be your wilderness experience, but I see God giving you the tenacity and the power to overcome all such temptations.
