BORN IN SORROW, BUT YET HONORABLE II

1 Chronicles 4:9-10 "There was a man named Jabez who was more honorable than any of his brothers. His mother named him Jabez because his birth had been so painful. He was the one who prayed to the God of Israel, "Oh, that you would bless me and expand my territory! Please be with me in all that I do, and keep me from all trouble and pain! And God granted him his request." One thing I have discovered about Hebrew names is that, they were and are still powerful. Once a person is given a particular name, it kind of has an influence on who they are to become or at least tells you who they are and some circumstances surrounding their birth. You dont have a problem when your name brings good tidings and blessings. But when you have a name like Nabal (Abigail's husband) which means 'a fool', then you really have an issue. Jabez found this out and prayed to God "that he would not cause pain" as he was conceived out of pain and sorrow. God is enlarging your coast too and giving you a new name now! @ABTru-worshipa
