A THANKFUL HEART...

"In all things give thanks unto God." Did the Bible really mean ALL THINGS? Because I know that some situations are difficult to bear, let alone to thank God for them. But our thoughts are not His thoughts, neither His ways our ways. Why should Paul and Silas praise God whiles in prison and in chains? I understand that I dont understand. So what were they singing and praising God for? That He had allowed them to be imprisoned? It doesn't make human sense. But that is faith. They believed God would cause their release from prison and were praising Him in advance. I also realised something about Jesus' ministry whiles on earth. Whenever He was comfronted with any humanly impossible situation, He first gave thanks. He gave thanks when He came to the tomb of Lazarus who was dead and the guy came back to life. He also gave thanks for the five loaves and two fishes and fed over 5000 men. That is the power behind thankgiving. Try that today no matter what! @ABTru-worshipa
