Haggai 1:6;9-10 "You have planted much but harvest little. You eat but are not satisfied. You drink but are still thirsty. You put on clothes but cannot keep warm. Your wages disappear as though you were putting them in pockets filled with holes!" In this text we see things are falling apart. If God is not at the center of your life, even though you may be working hard you would not enjoy the fruits of your labor to your satisfaction.
Thats where some people say, I work so hard but I dont know where the money passes. It continues from V.9-10 "You hoped for rich harvests, but they were poor. And when you brought your harvest home, I blew it away. Why? Because my house lies in ruins, says the Lord, while all of you are busy building your own fine houses. Its because of you that the heavens withhold the dew(rain) and the earth produces no crops(fruits)." Are you helping build God's kingdom or are you busily building your own empire. If you care about God, he would care about you and viceversa. @ABTru-worshipa
